Emarie Skelton brings expertise in historic rehabilitation, commercial design, and residential architecture to High Plains Architects. As an Architect I, she guides projects from concept through construction with precision and care, focusing on aligning design decisions with both site needs and client aspirations. Emarie’s work demonstrates a strong balance between honoring heritage and addressing the demands of modern spaces.
With a background in architecture from Virginia Tech that included a transformative year in a design/build studio, Emarie approaches every project with a collaborative, people-centered mindset. She is passionate about aligning design intent with occupant experience, crafting spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. At High Plains, she contributes to projects that reflect the firm’s mission—to create architecture rooted in place, serving people, environment, and community for generations.
