Eric Schmidt is a principal architect and the firm’s CFO, combining operational excellence with a deep commitment to sustainable design. He has managed complex projects across Montana, from clinical spaces for One Health to the Monte Renovation in Billings, and brings a sharp focus to making buildings perform beautifully for both people and communities. Eric holds accreditations as a Passive House Consultant and LEED AP, underscoring his dedication to high performance design and long-term environmental stewardship. 

A passionate educator and advocate, Eric serves as a mentor within the firm and as a public speaker across the region. He has been recognized as one of Billings Gazette’s “40 Under Forty” and named a New Leaders Council Fellow, reflecting both his expertise and his commitment to shaping resilient, people centered spaces. Through design, teaching, and service, Eric strives to create environments that uplift communities and stand the test of time.
